First World War

This is an ongoing project and I will continue to create more images. I created a War Alphabet and then a Peace Alphabet. These are canvasses with mixed media including original newspaper and other genuine First World War Items.

My next project was creating Remembrance, a poppy image within an old type case. This has been selected for the Society of Women Artists Open Exhibition 2014 at the Mall Galleries in London. I have used my photographs, some relics, paint effects, needlework and textiles and some found items to create this piece.

I have several more ideas that I want to work on, and will post here as and when I have completed them.
