I wanted to portray Milton Keynes in a positive light, capturing the main features of the modern city in a contemporary way but using traditional watercolours.

Overall you get a feel of the area with all the green space and the contemporary clean lines of the architecture. When you look deeper you find detail of the “concrete cows”, the Peace Pagoda, the Point and the long lasting “ice man”.

This partners the old Milton Keynes alphabet which contrasts with the historical aspects that can still be seen.
